Fight

Th bloody fist
that came to my face
blacked my eye
and made me cry
with great attempt i struggled
to at least make it through
but agian and agian he striked
and again and again i stumbled
to be on the dirt once more
my face dirty and wet
i stood on my feet again and again
to at least try to get a hit in
but i failed each time
each time i tried
i just met a face full of stone
and a heart that was ice cold
At last the bombardment faltered
and i was on top for once
and he was the one that was on the ground crying
and i was the one winning
so in all this pain and suffering
i got on top not him
and he was the one crying not me
so when all is said and done
he didnt last long
for he fell in a trench
and i got the last laugh
